America Nebula by Tommy Nawratil“Taken with AST8300B using Astronomik Deepsky and NB filters on Takahashi's FSQ106 with 0,73x reducer at 385mm. It is a 6 channel mix, LRGB+Ha12nm+OIII12nm. I worked also on the subtle structures inside nebula mass, and brought out the shock fronts using an orange color tint for the brighter Ha parts. That looks a little like false color, but it isn't exactly. OIII was mixed in almost between green and blue, the resulting color with Ha is almost whitish, resembling the colors a of a DSLR pic.” | Galaxy NGC 5907 by Stefano ContiCamera: AST8300B mono

Bubble Nebula by Rajko Eichhorn"The AST8300B once again proved to be a reliable working horse! It even, after more than two months unused at the scope, had not lost its vacuum!!
I am working with my 10" f/4.5 DIY Newton (R.Royce conical mirror) and MGEN off axis guiding. Also, I am using the Astrel Instruments flat-generator for the AST8300 with the Gerd Neuman flatfield panel.
3 x 2h (600sec subs), all processing in Pixinsight, labeling and exporting in PS." | Horsehead Nebula by Andrea Ricciardi“That's what you can do from the center of a big town like Rome with just 1 hour of data, 5x6min H-alpha 7nm and 5x2min RGB all bin 2x2, with Astrel Instruments AST8300X mono CCD camera and Optolong Astronomy Filter, 200mm f/4 Newton.” | IC410 and NGC1893 by Rajko Eichhorn“The (second) best use of the very long winter nights here in Northern Germany! And astrophotography certainly is fun with the great AST8300B camera!
Object: IC410 with NGC1893
Scope: DIY 10" f/4.5 Royce Newton with MGEN at OAG
