Camera: AST8300B Telescope: Takahashi FSQ106 Fluorite Filters: Astrodon RGB, Baader Ha/OIII Background and stars acquisition (90min): sequential RGB poses (180s ea). Extremely faint diffused nebula contrast enhanced by dedicated exposures with filters Ha (for SH2-129) and OIII (for OU4). Faint blue emission of the nebula (OIII filter) enanched by 2x2 binning increasing by x4 the S/N (thanks to lack of fine features in this area). The blue OIII channel required an overall integration of 20h.

“Taken with AST8300B using Astronomik Deepsky and NB filters on Takahashi's FSQ106 with 0,73x reducer at 385mm. It is a 6 channel mix, LRGB+Ha12nm+OIII12nm. I worked also on the subtle structures inside nebula mass, and brought out the shock fronts using an orange color tint for the brighter Ha parts. That looks a little like false color, but it isn't exactly. OIII was mixed in almost between green and blue, the resulting color with Ha is almost whitish, resembling the colors a of a DSLR pic.”
